The Pout-Pout Fish is a story by Deborah Deisen that helps initiate conversations with children about emotions and feelings. It follows the tale of Mr. Fish, who always wears a perpetual frown on his face. His constant sadness worries his ocean friends, who try to offer advice and encourage him to smile and be happy. However, Mr. Fish believes this is just who he is. Until one day, a little fish gives him a kiss that changes his perspective entirely. The Pout-Pout Fish becomes the Kiss-Kiss Fish, determined to spread happiness to his friends. This New York Puzzle Company puzzle depicts his friends cleaning the ocean, making it a perfect tool to teach children about the environment. The puzzle consists of 80 pieces with a linen-style finish to minimize glare. Recommended for ages 4+.
