Browns first victory for his new team came in his debut for Triple Eight at Race 2 of the Thrifty Bathurst 500! Brown outlasted Mostert and clinched an epic win in his #87 Chevrolet Camaro in a nail-bitting event finale!

Brown’s incredible performance saw him outpace Walkinshaw Andretti United star Chaz Mostert in the second round of stops. In a thrilling 10-lap run to the end between Brown and Mostert, Mostert was unable to keep pace with Brown, while teammate Broc Feeney took third after a dramatic penalty.
