In the game “Fishing,” the goal is to catch as many tricks as possible over 8 rounds, with each caught card earning 1 point. The cards you catch in one round are used in your hand for the next round, adding a strategic element as your performance in each round affects your future opportunities.

If you don’t manage to catch enough tricks to maintain a full hand, you can replenish with new cards from the “ocean stack,” or the deck. This keeps the game balanced and gives players a chance to catch up and remain competitive.

You win “Fishing” by accumulating the most points at the end of the 8 rounds. The number of new cards you need from the “ocean stack” depends on how well you perform in each round, so balancing skill and strategy is crucial for success.
