Crochet Peace Teddy Bear – Handmade and Fairtrade

Handmade with love from GOTS organic cotton, the Made51 Fair Trade Crochet Peace Bear is a gorgeous stuffed toy teddy bear crafted by Syrian refugees living in Turkey.

This hand crocheted soft toy bear is pale grey with a blue removable jacket and big brown nose, with a “Peace” label on one foot. Made from soft organic cotton and a cuddly hypoallergenic recycled polyester filling.

The Syrian Brown Bear with its pale fur holds strong symbolic meaning in Syrian folklore, symbolising maternal protectiveness and love. This fair trade teddy bear would make a heartfelt gift for a newborn or child, and a cherished keepsake.

MADE51 is an initiative brought to life by the UNHRC, the UN Refugee Agency, providing refugees the opportunity to use their craftsmanship to regain economic independence.

Please note: There may be slight variations in size, shape and colour due to the handmade nature of the product.
